The House, its website, and you

The website esiglobal.com is operated by ESI Executive Search International, a professional firm established under Italian law, with its registered office at Piazza del Popolo 18, 00187 Rome, Italy. In these Terms, references to the House, we, our, or us mean ESI Executive Search International. References to you or your mean any individual who accesses or uses the site.

By accessing or using esiglobal.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and by the Privacy Notice, which is incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Purpose of the website

The website exists to provide information about the House of ESI, its history, its services, its leadership, its portfolio of clients, and its editorial voice. The site also provides means for clients, senior hospitality professionals, and journalists to make contact with the House.

The site is not a platform for the sale of goods or services. Any engagement with the House is formalised separately, by written agreement, following direct professional conversation.

Intellectual property

All content on esiglobal.com, including but not limited to text, editorial letters, images, photographs, the House wordmark, the CADT name and methodology, the structure and layout of the site, and the design tokens and typographic choices that characterise the site, is the intellectual property of the House of ESI or of its licensors and is protected by Italian, European, and international copyright and trademark law.

You may view, download, and print content from the site for your own non-commercial, professional reference, provided that you retain all copyright and other proprietary notices. Any other use, including reproduction, modification, distribution, transmission, republication, display, or performance of the content, requires our prior written consent. The CADT name and methodology are used by permission and may not be reproduced in any form without express written permission.

Quotation of short passages for legitimate editorial or academic purposes, with clear attribution and a link to the source, is welcomed.

How you may use the site

You agree to use the site only for lawful purposes and in ways that do not infringe the rights of others, restrict their use of the site, or compromise its security.

Specifically, you agree not to use the site in any way that breaches any applicable law or regulation; attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its servers, or any connected system; transmit or upload any material that contains viruses, trojan horses, worms, or other malicious code; scrape, harvest, or automatically extract data from the site without our prior written consent; reproduce, duplicate, copy, or resell any part of the site in breach of these Terms; impersonate any person, including a representative of the House, or misrepresent your affiliation with the House; use the site to transmit unsolicited commercial communication.

Forms and confidential submissions

The website provides forms for contacting the House, submitting a CV, and subscribing to the newsletter. By using these forms, you represent that the information you provide is accurate and current; you have the right to submit the information you provide, including any personal data of third parties, where applicable; you understand that the House will process the information in accordance with the Privacy Notice.

The House treats all professional submissions as confidential, in accordance with the standards of discretion that have defined the firm since 1977. Submission does not, however, create a professional engagement. An engagement with the House is formalised only by separate written agreement following direct conversation.

The site may contain links to third-party websites, including those of our clients, members of our trusted network, regulatory authorities, or other sources of professional interest. These links are provided for convenience. The House does not control and is not responsible for the content of third-party websites, nor for their privacy or data protection practices. Your use of any linked site is at your own risk and subject to the terms of that site.

No professional advice

It does not constitute professional advice, legal advice, or a specific recommendation for any particular course of action. Any specific decision concerning leadership appointments, succession planning, or executive career choices should be made on the basis of direct professional conversation with the House or with other qualified advisors.

Availability and changes to the site

The House endeavours to keep the site available and up to date, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the site at any time, without notice, for maintenance, development, or any other reason.

We may update, correct, or remove content at our discretion. We do not commit to updating historical content, such as editorial letters, to reflect subsequent developments. Dated editorial content should be read in its original context.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the House is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of or inability to use the site, including loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law, including liability for gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or fraud.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the House, its principals, and its personnel from any claim, liability, loss, or expense arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the site, or your violation of any applicable law or of the rights of any third party.
